This page clearly explains where ScripTrade uses artificial intelligence systems, how generated results are identified, which checks are performed, and which responsibilities remain with the user.
1. When you interact with AI
The chat, code generation, and automated review are AI-assisted features. Messages produced by the system are identified in the interface as “AI-generated”. This information is shown at the point of interaction and is not hidden only in legal documents.
2. How an Expert Advisor is produced
- The user describes strategy rules, instruments, timeframes, and limits in natural language.
- The AI system interprets the instructions and generates or modifies MQL4/MQL5 code. ScripTrade does not invent real-time market data and does not place trades on the user's account.
- The code goes through compilation, automated checks, and AI review. These steps reduce some technical errors but do not prove safety, strategy correctness, or profitability.
- The user sees the response, can compare versions, inspect the code, and independently decides whether to download, modify, or not use it.
3. Labelling and provenance
Messages and code shown in the app include software-readable attributes indicating their artificial origin. When source code is copied or downloaded, ScripTrade also adds a structured provenance comment. The marker does not alter program execution and must not be understood as a code certification.

// @ai-generated {"generator":"ScripTrade","provenance_version":1}4. Human oversight
ScripTrade does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about a person. Strategy choice, source review, parameter configuration, installation in MetaTrader, and any demo or live use remain user decisions. We do not autonomously connect code to a broker or place trades on the user's behalf.
5. Limitations to understand
- AI may misunderstand instructions, omit edge cases, or produce technically valid code that differs from the user's intention.
- Compilation and review do not predict markets or verify slippage, spreads, liquidity, broker rules, or future conditions.
- Backtesting and demo-account testing remain necessary; past or simulated results do not guarantee future outcomes.
- Competent human review is required before live use, and the user must maintain risk limits and a way to stop execution.
6. Data used by AI
- We send the AI provider only the instructions, conversation context, and code needed to generate or correct the requested result.
- We do not use user briefs or code to train artificial intelligence models, whether ours or those of our AI providers.
- Do not enter passwords, API keys, trading-account data, third-party personal data, or sensitive information that is not needed.
Purposes, legal grounds, providers, retention, and rights are described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Classification and monitoring
ScripTrade is designed as a software-generation assistance tool, not for biometric recognition, emotion assessment, social scoring, employment selection, credit, insurance, or investment decisions about a person. We reassess this classification and our transparency measures when features, providers, or applicable guidance change. This description does not replace a legal assessment of a particular use a user may make of exported code.
8. Official sources
Our transparency measures take account of Article 50 of the European Artificial Intelligence Regulation, applicable from 2 August 2026, and European Commission guidance. The following are official sources:
