The four steps
Describe the strategy
Write — in any language — how your strategy works: instrument, , entry/exit signals, risk management. No coding required.
AI generates the code
ScripTrade turns your description into full code with , sizing, error handling and structured comments.
Review and download
Inspect the code in the embedded editor and download the .mq5 file. Compile it again in MetaEditor and test it on demo before use.
Refine any time
Use the chat to adjust the , jump back to a previous version, or branch a variant. Every change is autosaved.
How ScripTrade checks the code
Every EA goes through the same four stages before you can download it, and you can follow each one live while the EA is built.
- 01
Draft
The AI writes the complete source from your brief, with , sizing and error handling.
- 02
Static checks
Automated checks review the code before it is compiled: , error handling, the OnTick structure and the overall coherence of the logic.
- 03
Compile and fix
The code is compiled. When the compiler reports errors, ScripTrade reads them, fixes the code and compiles again, with up to three automatic attempts.
- 04
Delivery
Once the build passes, the is packaged for download together with a map of its code, its inputs and the checks it went through.
These checks show that the code compiles and passes automated checks. They do not prove that the strategy is profitable or does exactly what you meant: backtest it in MetaTrader 5 and test it on a demo account before any live use.
